Why are we a fan of individual Open Days?
1. Personalized Approach – You Come First
During an individual visit, the focus is entirely on you. You don’t have to worry about getting “lost in the crowd” or having your questions go unanswered. The staff and students can devote their time to your specific interests and concerns.
2. You Can Dive Deeper into Details
Group visits often provide general information tailored to everyone. On an individual visit, you have the chance to dig deeper into the details that matter most to you – whether it’s specific programs, study plans, extracurricular activities, or career opportunities after graduation.
3. A Flexible, Tailor-Made Program
Do you have specific interests or areas you want to explore? An individual visit allows the program to be customized just for you. Whether you want to see labs, sports facilities, art studios, or sit in on a particular class, the school will happily show you what’s most relevant to you.
4. A Calmer and More Enjoyable Atmosphere
Group events can sometimes feel noisy or hectic – lots of people, little space, and it’s hard to take everything in. An individual visit is calmer and more organized, so you can truly enjoy the experience and get a better feel for the place.
5. Make a Better Impression and Build Connections
If you’re considering applying to the school, an individual visit allows you to leave a positive impression. By showing your genuine interest, you can also connect with staff, teachers, or students who can share their experiences and advice with you.
6. Time for All Your Questions
In group visits, you might hesitate to ask “your own” questions. On an individual visit, you’re free to talk about anything that interests you without feeling like you’re holding others up. You can ask about the difficulty of the courses, accommodation options, scholarships, or what student life is really like.
7. Bring Someone Along
If you’d like some support while making your decision, you can bring someone with you to an individual open day. Whether it’s a parent, sibling, or a friend, there’s enough time for all of you to explore the school and ask questions.
Why is an individual day better?
It's your day - a time when you have the space to get to know the school in depth, without distractions. You have the opportunity to get answers to the questions that really interest you, make personal connections and soak up the atmosphere of the school in peace and quiet. It's an ideal way to clarify your decision and feel more confident about your choice of school or course.
